Doesn't look like it.
I think he just hit high revs and made it wheel spin.

don't think it would be high revs..looks too dangerous if it was done with wheel spin from high revs

as ahcash said about handbrake, made me think, his back wheels are stationary when he does it. So I assume he's got the handbrake up. Plus you can hear his handbrake when he stops.

Ohh .. sorry .. didn't hear anything as I was watching it at work and have the speakers off... I thought it is locking the back wheels with the handbrake and then doa spin on the front wheels with the right angle.. Anyway .. I could be wrong..

cool video, but makes me wonder if the person did it with the handbreak cause once i driving the car, and the red circle with exclaimation mark was lit, something like (!). stop the car on the side to check all doors was closed properly or something, tried to reverse but couldn't, the realised my handbreak was not properly pushed down fully.
all i'm saying is, i know that the handbreak can be used for hill start (not allowing the car to roll backwards) but does it stop the car from moving forward?

When a handbrake is applied, it doesn't neccessary stop your car from moving, your car is still able to move but it will cause massive strain on your car when you're trying to move off.
I think with handbrakes, they mainly hold the back wheels and if youre car is FF, then if you're doing highrevs in order to do a wheel spin, then your back end will stay stationary, but your wheels will spin.

Handbrakes apply to the rear wheels on most nearly every car. One of the only cars I've come across where this wasn't the case was a Citreon where it applied to the front wheels. In a lot of mercs the handbrake is actually a foot brake down where the clutch would be and is released by a lever on the dash. In the old Ford Falcons the handbrake pulled out from the dash as with bench front seats nothing was floor mounted.
A handbrake turn turns a a car sharply and is extensively used in ralleying and motorkana. To perform a handbrake turn drive straight, turn the wheel slightly in the direction you wish to turn sharply and apply the handbrake. You do not need alot of speed to perform this and I strongly suggest you don't travel too fast if you ever want to try this. Once turned enough release the handbrake. You only need to apply the handbrake for a very short period of time to initiate the rear end slide.
There is no need to create a pendulem action like in scandinavian flings (used at higher speeds or for smaller directional changes ralleying) and hammerhead throws.

yeah, I agree with U~~ Im wondering should I pull very hard in order to stop the car especially on those hilly areas. eventhough the car is merely stop (suffiecient to handbrake the car), however, when I shack the car abit from the inside, I could hear "grouukkk grouuuk" sound. it's like the handbrake still haven't fully locked up. unless I tried really hard, but Im afaid that it might loosen the handbrake. ~~~~
