Hi all I am using optimax atm but wanna change to another brand prolly ultimate as i find optimax makes me car shake more and if feels something like and old car. When I used ultimate it was very smooth and i wanna use that again.
But I have now half a tank full of optimax if i put ultimate in will that have a bad effect? or should i wait till nearly empty.
Also any other petrol you guys recommend. I used optimax extreme too but found that no different and just 4 cents dearer than optimax.

I am in the same boat (on another car), I got recommended to use Synergy 8000 which I did fill it up with the 8000.. For some reason, I can feel a bit of power lost and not as responsive as the Ultimate.. I've got a whole tank to finish before I got back to Ultimate..
My suggestion would be to use up what you have now and then switch it back to your preferred petrol...
But the other arguement would be hopefully the current one won't do much damage...
What do the other guys think?

With half and half its still got to be better than the one you want to stop using alone. I find you have to buy petrol on the weekly cycle to get the better price regardless of whats left in the tank. Agree Ultimate is best besides Optimax Extreme - really missed it those weeks they were out of at BP.
