Shit On Wheels Lots of there Jeff.. ;D ;D .. Try not to be a basher to other brand.. After all, Getz has got a few good design... e.g. rear disc brake??, cheap to buy, cheap to run and cheap to repair and 5 years warranty.. err what else? overall, acceptable car.. my first car was a hyundai.. and never go back since..

I would take any other car there before the Getz...piece of shit.
They obviously don't take in to account the fact that after 5 years the Hyundais will be worthless, and falling to bits

nah i think the getz is pretty cool. I've seen some of those modified ones as well, they look pretty smart. Plus in 5 years time, you'll probably wanting to be changing cars

Its all relative. I'd take a Getz over a Daewoo rebadged as a Holden Barina anyday. Not to be confused with the Daewoo rebadged as a Holden Viva or the new Daewoo rebadged as a Holden meant as a CRV/RAV4 killer or Daewoo rebadged as the new Holden Vectra. In fact Holden should just scrap producing Commodores as well and rebadge a cheaper Daewoo while they are at it. Oh and they even have a Daewoo rebadged as a Holden replacement in the pipeline for the Rodeo. "Holden the rebadged Daewoo company."
You can get almost 2 Getz for a Jazz but by the same token you could get a fleet of Hondas for a Merc.

oo, the yaris looks futureristic, but it'll take some getting use to the speedo mounted in the centre of the dash

Takes no time at all. It's actually quite space efficent over the Jazz. Under the boot there's a nice area to hide stuff and also inside the cavities of the spare tyre. The thing is the speedo is to the right most of the view so it's not that far away to view. The tacho however is a little harder to notice compared to a dial needle but then again, who looks at that except when you're out on the racetrack? I know I only looked at it carefully there to change as close to the redline as possible.

SmellyTofu, you driving a Yaris now? Does that mean we have to kick you out from this forum? ;D ;D Just kidding!!! Anyway... I've driven a Yaris and have to say .. it is not bad at all.. only the price which made me choose another car instead...

Not now now.. I've ordered one. I still prefer to drive the Yaris over the Jazz.. I'm only in the Jazz if I feel lazy and don't want to shift gears and want to turn with one finger. Mind you the Jazz hasn't been started for a few weeks. It rarely gets driven around and I've racked up more k's on the Corolla in a few weeks than the Jazz has in months. Wasted really *shrug*.
