Here are the results of the 2005 Australian Best Small Car.. The winner is .......... Hyundai Getz 1.6-litre 5-speed manual 3-door hatchback $14,490 View Scores for all Small Cars. I still love my Jazz though...

Not surprising. Hyundai is cheap, cheap and nasty, cheap and did I mention cheap. Thats' all that matters when you don't value anything but price.
I know which car I'd rather be in if involved in an accident.
If you've got a $99 head buy a $99 helmet. If you've got a $14,490 body buy a Hyundai.

Did anyone watch the Drive show on Channel 10 on Sat? Jazz.. ranked 4th out of 5 cars!!! I think it went from Getz, Jazz, 2, Yaris, Swift...
The Getz has a new engine and has improved a lot but still, there's more class in the Jazz.

yeah . but Toyota is going to pull the plug on Daihatsu sometime next year...
Everyone knows Jazz is the best car out of the category.. only if Jazz is cheap to buy (which will never happen).. cheap to repair and maintain, cheap to run.. then it will sure win...

Toyota did pull Daihatsu from the Aust market. It's still quite good in Japan. I kinda like the look of the Sirion and the YRV turbo. Saw one of them but not on the road... (private car on private land... lucky security cars!).
