1) Anyone know anything much about on glass AM/FM antennas?
2) Can they only go on the rear window? I want to mount on front passenger windscreen.
3) Is the reception as good as a conventional antenna?
4) Do you know any decent brands / models - places to purchase?

Don't know much about them... SORRY!
Why do you want to do that vividjazz? The stock antenna wasn't that bad, just change that to a shorter one, e.g. Spoon and it will look good...
Don't you need to run the wiring to the glass antenna?

Don't you need to run the wiring to the glass antenna? Nar was having problems getting an adapter plug from the factory antenna to the aftermarket. Rather than cut the factory one I was thinking this might be another option. Just got word today that there is an adapter plug available. Should have it next week. I've done my stereo install so I can go back to the factory unit when I sell the car. No point giving the next owner a free $1,200- head unit unless they want to pay for it. Let alone the rest of my audio setup. Hopeing its all finished Saturday bar the antenna plug. Will post some pics when its all done.
