1. Do Mugen Rims fit the normal stock jazz nuts or do you have to get special Mugen Lug nuts to fit?
2. Do LUG nuts double as LOCK NUTS or do you still need LOCK nuts to prevent theft of my rims?
3. What is the best way to prevent theft of my rims (besides not putting them on my car and have them sitting in my garage)?

Don't know the answer to question 1, but with question 2 I think the lug nuts have one special nut that is different to the rest so basically like locking wheel nuts.
If you want to prevent the theft of your rims besides locking nuts, you should try an aftermarket alarm module. They have these alarm modules that detect when your car is being jacked up. I think it's a module that is filled with mercury and when you arm your alarm, it sets the position of the mercury as normal, but if car is jacked up and the mercury is disturbed it will set the alarm off.

Everyone ignores alarms unfortunately and will just tell you to turn the damn alarm off when it goes off all the time with countless false alarms. A common trick amongst thieves is to set off a car with an alarm multiple times until the owner switches the alarm off in frustration then the car is left unlocked with the immobiliser off making it easy to steal or strip.
Steering wheel locks if not simply broken off are bypassed by professional car thieves by ripping the whole steering wheel off and bolting on their own wheel.
Lock nuts are taken off with a lock nut removal kit or a big adjustable wrench.
My bikes security system has a mercury switch, never again. Physical security is the best deterant (all you can do is slow them down and make your car less desirable). Besides lock nuts nothing like a great big wheel clamp. Sprinkle everything with Datadots so that if they should get stolen they can be identified as yours if recovered.
Another alternative is back to base monitored security with full tracking system such as Carwatch Quicktrack. Had this on a car years ago and still have it in my bike. No vehicle equipped with this system has ever not been sucessfully recovered in Australia. It utilises multispectrum tracking developed by British Aerospace to triangulate the vehicles position to the nearest half meter. It cannot be jammed and unlike GPS works underground. The monitoring centre can remotely shutdown the vehicle safely when the police are in position. System includes a panic feature in the case of ever increasing car jacking and the ability to contact roadside assistance with a special key. Besides the large initial outlay for such a system you have annual ongoing monitoring costs. Such systems are common on HSV, Porsches, Harley Davidsons, bobcats and other expensive equipment.
Always park your car in a lock up garage at night and don't leave it out anywhere through the day for extended periods. University car parks have one of the highest theft rates as cars are left for extended periods and thieves can work pretty much undisturbed. Park in view of security cameras where possible.
All you can do is take every possible precaution but at the end of the day if a professional car thief has your car on their shopping list you can just make sure you have comprehensive car insurance. Make sure expensive accessories like rims, sound systems and coilovers are listed on and covered by your policy.

(never own Mugen rims.. so not 100% sure)... TypeG could confirm this.. that's if he is around.. 3. Get those lock nuts and park your car safe.. (in the garage all the time or where can be seen by lots of ppl).. or get those alarms with shock sensor...

Yeah you park your car where there is many people walking around as it will decrease the chance of the car being jacked up or being theft.
AFAIK, most if not all car parks have some sort of legislation stating that they do not hold any responsibility to any lost or damage to cars and parking there is at the owners own risk.

That's true... at owner's risk at all time... Just make sure you get yourself some good lock nuts.. that should be fine...

u wanna make sure that the rims not get stolen, put all 4 LOCK nuts on each of ur rim. get the round shape LOCK nuts not the hexagonal one. Round one is a lot harder to open. That would prevent theft cos its taking too long to undo all 4 LOCK nuts each rim. Get 2 different style LOCK nuts so 2 of the same kind on each rim.
