I thought we have covered this before.. but I couldn't find it.. anyway ...
Chassis the same except for some minor cosmetic changes..
1. 2005 headlights are slightly different..
2. 2005 Jazz instrument cluster console is illuminator type..
3. If CVT, it has the shift padel on the steering wheel
4. different trim? (not too sure..)
5. Bodykit different if you are going for VTis.
What else guys?

the tail lights hav a slight pinkish tinge IMO (not to worry, they're hardly noticable)
body kit is different.
2005 is slightly more agressive/flared at the bottom. where as 2003 is more rounded. (subtle differences)
differnt cd headunit
differnt hubcaps

z3n...that's the weird thing about my car
Mine is definetly an 05 one because it's registered as 05 and has the new body kit, but the thing is....
#1 my tail lights don't have a pink tint
#2 the parkers on the 05 jazz have like a blue cover above them, but mine doesn't come with that
#3 my cd console is the old one with the two dials
Which is slightly odd (o.O)

You sure? I think the facelift happened in 05.. what is the build date on it kentris?

kentris, the UK one could be different.. go to the dealers as if you are the new car buyer and see if the cars in the showroom are the same. ;D ;D

ahcash ar, I'm sure la. Walked into showroom the other week and definetly the facelift one is different to mine la. I think maybe because my jazz was already registered by Honda but no-one bought it so left on Honda garages for a while. Bought it for £8k with 2miles to the clock  (~$10,899AUD), we got £800 (~$1,089AUD) knocked off on it cos mum paid in cash. Er my vin is: JHMGD57105S218020 So I dunno how to read vins though. |

If I were you kentris, I would ask the dealer to clarify..

pink tint is for the 1.5 ENGINE
the 1.3 is clear.

use this link to help decode your VIN: www.analogx.com/contents/vinview.htmaccording to the info, kentis jazz is 2005, GD5, made in japan etcetc. i don't see any reason why you jazz isn't facelifted, but isn't GD5 1.2L 4 wheel drive? (as opposed to our GD3 = 1.5L Front wheel drive) well don't worry too much, as long as the VIN says its made in 2005, then when you come to resale it, it will worth more than 2004-2003 model |
