funny how they don't put the HAMP oil filter on that brochure and say it's a genuine product too

Apart from offering high quality genuine auto parts at value-for-money price, Honda also stocks good quality, low cost HAMP parts that are nearly as durable as the genuine ones.
HOP are genuine. HAMP are a necessary alternative in markets like Thailand where people can't always afford HOP.
In Australia HAMP are a good way for unscupulous Honda dealers to increase profit margins by using cheaper parts and telling customers they are genuine Honda. They of course still charge the sucker customer who keeps coming back HOP prices (because the customer doesn't know that they don't have to be violated by their local Honda dealer (tenticle monster style) for the rest of their lives).

Wouldn't surprise me if Honda Australia didn't know the difference.
They try some pretty dodgy things on. For example they try to tell people that Honda electrical components sold as spare parts come with no warranty as they are electrical. HUH!!!
Bought a rectifier for my Honda bike after the factory one died taking the bikes battery with it. Very common part to fail on Honda bikes. New part was dead on arrival and they would not replace it until I had words with the parts manager at Honda MPE in Melbourne.
