Yeah when the clutch goes, its either call the tow truck, or drive clutchless home, i've done it before, a lot easier than you'd think. Only problem is red traffic lights. Switch off the engine, put car in 1st or 2nd, when lights go green use the starter motor (clutch out) to drive the car forward, wide open throttle, car starts and off you go, gear changing is just a matter of matching the revs and poping it in. After a while it actually gets fun.
Im not sure about you guys saying its slow up hills, my car seems fine. Fastest 1.5 ive ever driven up hills. Also accelleration up hill shouldnt be related to clutch unless you can actually see your revs climbing and your speed not increasing proportionatly, which would indicate clutch slipping. Im thinking slowness up hill might be because you're being too kind on the engine and not revving it enough?
