i got nothing else to try with i reckon you should borrow something from your friends to try and see if it works. sometimes it doesn't work due to faulty connectors or poor contact. maybe you can try the phone charger again but try turning and twisting the phone charger connector and see if there's any reaction. you can measure to see if you can get any output from the ciggy lighter using a multi meter too, if you have one.

(dun think so lah... sensors are in the chassis.. not the dashboard...) Dun whack too hard.. if not the whole dashboard will fall off...

wah~~ so risky wor~~ Im worried that whacking too hard might "activate" other parts to rattle as well woh~~ I want "scientific" proof like tighten up something rather than whacking ... ~~~

OK.. here is where I suspect the rattles come from... (this is my own suspect tho.. might not be relavant to yours) See the following picture when I push the dashboard and there is a gap.. sometimes when I drive on those "not so smooth" road, the black bit of the dashboard rub against the white bit on the left.. and create all these rattles... Everytime when I hear rattles.. I will try to push that part down and let go, down and let go.. most of the time, the rattles will disappear.. but only short term solution.. I will have to mention it to them next time... Gaps when I push the dashboard down a bit hard...Gaps when I push lightly... [

Hi guyz, does anyone have any problem with your jazz? well, I just wanna share the diagnosis with U guyz so that we can know whether the problem is just only for your car or same as everyone~ well, I make the first one to say this out~ 03, Vti: 1. when I swith on the air-con, thre's something smelly come out for the first 1min... it's not those undry smell but it some kind like a heavy new car smell... becoz it is heavy smell it turn the normal smell into a pretty bad smell~ it runs normal after that minute.. 2. as U guyz know that the rattle sound for your jazz, it only occur at the leftside (near the edge) when the car reach 100km/h. however, I just found out that it rattle most of the time below 100km/h as well. something is loose inside which I couldn't see .. 3. my front disc got heavy rubbing sound when braking the car. the first time I sent my car for inspection, they couldn't find this problem as it happen less, but now it happen most of the time so I will send my car for a check up again, presume the brakepad is not that good. 4. for manual user, there's a "chic" sound (not very obvious) not U shift or free your gear(not this sound),but when U release your cluth, then u can hear the "chic" sound not so obvious. I could only hear it when my music is off and outdoor is very silent. well, the rest of it will be fine like new~! Im a very sensitive driver~ maybe for question 1 and 4 might not be the diagnosis ^^ 1. U may need to send your car to somewhere to do the A/C cleaning. if do it in Honda dealer, it cost around $140 (Southside Honda, Brisbane). 2. i have the rattle sound at the front passenger too. I told Honda b4, they said if u really wanna find out the problem, need to open the front dashboard. Your car is 03 Jazz, i assume that u are still in warranty (if u did all the services in Honda, and using Honda porduct, e.g. engine oil...etc). Thus they will check it for u whithout any charge. I didn't let them check it, coz' they can't finish in 1 day! 3. i found the metal rubbing sound from the driver side front wheel last Sat. but my case is different to u. I hear the sound when quick accelerating, and turning right. When i brake, the sound gone. I took it to service yesterday, and they said my front right side brake pad is gone. Need to change a new one. I changed it. I cost me $340 (Southside Honda, Brisbane) for the front brake pad (Left and right wheel) INcluding labour!!

Endless + labour = AUD240?? so cheap?? both left and right brake or just a pair?? for Endless, that is AU$240 a pair i guess, so both left and right side (2 pairs) = AU$480

nope, my friend ask the Endless supplier, Centrax, they quote the price for me AUD159.90. plus labor fees AUD40 + machine the disc AUD40... = AUD240. I can't get it at the moment as I need to send my car for a checkup first. it could be my calliper or rotor problem~ if it is caused by the pad, then I will change the aftermarket pad ... actually HK is selling that endless pad for AUD110...

hey, my question is, AUD240 one brake only, or both left and right front brakes??
In Honda, AUD340 is including brake pads, machine the disc and labour for "2" front brakes~ both right and left brakes!!
