Thinking of changing the CVT oil myself since I've notice the tranny is getting a bit noisier than before... Only done about 13,000km. Questions I have... - You guys got any instructions or pictures?
- Location of the bolt/plug?
- Does the plug needs to be changed?
- Only one type of CVT oil available at Honda?
- How much do I need and price?
- Any filters? I don't think so..
- Need to reset CVT after that? ECU?
Any comments will be appreciated.

I can answer some of the question but certainly not all.
Only 1 CVT fluid from Honda. Requires 1 bottle for change. Any Honda dealer will know the price. No filters. No reset after change.
As for doing the job I leave that to the Honda experts at Hannys. When mine needs to be done I'll watch the process (because unlike Australian Honda dealers they don't hide what they do).
Doesn't the manual have anything by way of instructions / even pictures? If your going to do heaps of stuff on the car yourself in future worth investing in a workshop manual. I've got one for my Honda bike and it details everything really well but wasn't cheap.

Thanks dude...
I've check the manual, and there are only one pictures on whereabout is the dip stick for the ATF and the drain bolt for the ATF. (Auto Tranny Fluid) and it is based on Manual.
There were some talk about the workshop manual but no one can get hold of a copy... ;D
Might check with my friend master tech or Spoonie...

Went to the Honda dealer on Saturday to pick up some CVT tranny Fluid.. They only come with 1 Litre bottle.. (a bit stupid I think..) and according to Spoonie.. I need 3.4 Litres. I have to get 4 bottles.. It cost like $15 per bottle... damn costly.. anyway, I hope the price is about right?
Planning to do it sometime this week.. Will write up a DIY when I get a chance..
