Finally got time to put on a Xforce bpipes..
Current setup: Xforce headers, stock CAT, Xforce bpipes, HKS Hipower 409..
It is a 2 piece joint whereas the stock bpipe is one piece.. have to make sure there is no leak..
After install.. first drive and straight away you notice the HKS Hipower 409 sounded deeper and louder... (damn.. I will have to figure something out to make the muffler silent a bit..)
Bum-o-meter review: (solely personal feel from the bum.. not dyno..) I can feel some gain in the mid to high range. it will happily rev up to 5000rpm without any stress.. (before, you can feel it is a bit reluctant to go after 4000rpm..) I cannot feel any gain in the low range below 2500rpm neither does it loose any power at that range.. just not gaining any...
Next test would be to put back the Simolta Pod Filter Kit.. Hopefully, it will silent the muffler a little bit and revv more freely after 5000rpm.. will keep you guys posted...
Next addition would be the hi-flow cat... saving up at the moment..

Changing the bpipe on jazz really makes significant difference to the car. I mysef was surprised. At first i was sceptic of wat the bpipe can do. Tried to sell my brand new xforce bpipe, no luck and decided to install on the car. Once on the car, thats it. ;D It stays on the car cos its really worth.

yeah.. I was surprise too.. the bpipes can make such difference... I have to try it out when it is not too hot... it's like 38 - 40 degree out there and the car might suffer a bit..

yours is CVT or manual? some says that CVT can't change the all exhaust set otherwise it can decrease the low RPM power, and gain in high RPM, is it correct?

also ahcash car is cvt... now the only thing left that he hasnt changed is the high flow cat downpipe... if his low end suffers at the current mod that he has, he would have complained or said something oredy.... if cash is in doubt, he wouldnt have considered getting the downpipe...
cvt with full exhaust from header to the muffler, its like when u press the gas pedal, there is a slight lag and when that lag is over, the power rush can be felt clearly and strongly. this is if u use the auto mode. but if u use the cvt 7 speed "S" mode, that lag is totally gone. It doesnt exist and the power rush is still there. power performance is definitely increased and power curve is smooth...this is for the 1.5l vtec engine...
all auto car is not that good in low end... thats a fact not only jazz.

some says that auto tranny can't apply a full set exhaust because it will lose a back pressure a bit, and will lose a low end power...... that's great if you say that it will not effected the low end power.... because i already manage to buy a hotbits header

Jazzpro... time to spend some money and do a proper dyno.. and show all the dyno sheet.. I doubt it will loose any low end power.. I like to drive in 7 speed mode with paddle shift, when the car come to a stop, it lowest gear it will go is 2nd, sometime I also lazy to change it to 1st at the traffic light.. pick up from the 2nd will suffer and when it past thru the 10 - 20km/h, you can feel the urge of the power and accelerate fast... (I know, I shouldn't put stress on the tranny by taking off in 2nd rear..)

In my old EK4, high flow cat and bpipe doesnt do much different to the car at all.... totally different with jazz.... may differ again in other cars.. so wats the spoon header u wrote in ur signature "Jazz VTI A/T 2005, spoon sport header, predator air filter, tanabe sustec strut bar, fit dynamite headlight w/ xenon 6000K, LED stop lamp".
