Well I haven't got the jazz yet but I park on the roof of sunnybank plaza as my crappy company doesn't have enough parking spaces in TS  Yeah I just want legal tinting, also will the darkest legal be good enough to still see out the back window, finally does anyone have the number for the tinting guy or where abouts in sunnybank plaza he is? First thing I plan to do when i get the jazz is Tinting, number plates and a exhaust tip. $30 a month parking man, it's cheap. i guess it's insurance and protection for your car. cars get broken into at Plaza. the tinting guy is a mobile guy. tell him we sent u and ask him to match the price. exhaust tip? just a tip or the muffler? u want brand or non brand? non branded cannon muffler are around $150 - 200 fitted. my fd can get geninue HKS for $480 fitted. |

I just want a tip as I can't afford to spend too much, I have a mortgage to pay. Lol the reason why I joined this forum is to get cheaper group buys and help with DIY stuff  yeah I might convince my gf to get her jazz tinted with me for discount. Also does he give 10 year warranty? |

oiii~~ Kelvin, don't confuse thachng~~ lifetime warranty means 7 years warranty only~ Thachng, I wanna change the muffler tip only as well as Im still an unemploy student ^^. btw, regarding the tint, I guess it would be cheaper if U do more than 1 jazz~~ so that U can get AUD230 for both illegal and legal~ don't worry about the road regulation as long as U don't commit crime or breaking the traffic law, U won't get fined~~

this is what we did (me, Kelvin and Roger) for our mix breed tinting~~ the back of the window is legal, rear passenger to boot window are illegal, driver and front small windows are legal~ actually we want the back window to be illegal, but like philip siad it would be hard to see especially at nite time + rear parking at nite... but it would look good if U see those jazz poster with the illegal tint at the back~ just to give U some comment about how we tint the car ^^   |

I am using Honda provided tinting, that is not dark enough and expensive! don't go for it!! Hey, nick, u wanna change the muffler or just wanna put the tip on?? If u want the tip only, i can sell my one to u for $10 (including fitting, haha!!) , but i only can give u in next month after i buy a new muffler! I bought my muffler tip from Honda dealer (they called it Exhaust Finisher, it is one of the Jazz's accessories), originally cost $24! |

oiii~~ Kelvin, don't confuse thachng~~ lifetime warranty means 7 years warranty only~ Oh, so that is not lifetime warranty?? 7 years only? see nick, that's the reason why i didn't want to say that because it will confuse a lot of people!! even david is confused by you already. since this warranty issue is being brought up, i shall explain what sam said. the tint by sam is lifetime warranty. but this "lifetime" doesn't mean forever. the warranty is valid for the lifespan of the tint. according to sam, the lifespan of all tint is usually 5 to 6 years and after which you will need to re-tint. warranty is given based on the lifespan of the warranty, which makes it "lifetime" warranty. hope my explanation is clear enough. |

hehehe yeah~~ Thachng, if U are intersested, I recommend U to tint at Sam's place~ but it would be better to have at least 2 cars coz U will get it cheaper~~ before that I don't like to tint my car coz it is useless to me~ but my perception was wrong coz now I could feel like how useful of the tint is to the interior temperature especially during the summer time ^^ ~~ and it would make your car looks misterious too ^^ yeaH~~ David, your tip is on my list now~!! when will I pay U the money?

Yeah im gonna try to get tinting donw with my gf jazz, I also just want legal tinting no illegal stuff as I intend to sell it in maybe two years. So I don't want to change it so much that it restricts the people that will buy my car.

err not many ppl will bother to ask if the tinting is legal or not. all they care is whether it has or hasn't.

Oh yeah i just talked to my uncle and he said hes getting his mazda 3 sp23 tinted and his friend can do my car for $170, that im really happy about that. lol maybe i can get an exhaust instead of a tip Well I said maybe as new echo looks really nice and a I have a friend whose husband works for toyota as an anaylst and I think they can get 10% off the price (small cars have little margin). but only a thought at the moment. |

Darkest legal and lifetime warranty he did my uncles VW bettle about 4 years ago and its still good so i guess ill pick him
Also i have family that used Sam before too about 8 years ago and the tinting is still good so i guess Sam uses good quality tinting. Back then he charged $180.00
