I removed my badge too. I did it while washing the car - probably not a good idea. I used fishing line but still found heaps of trouble. In the end i used some methylated spirits diluted slightly and rubbed the remaining gunk sticky bits off and washed off the metho real quick.

When I removed my Jazz badge, I just used some dental floss. I wedged it under one corner, then pulled at the corner of the badge while sliding the dental floss further along. I didn't have much residue after I was finished, and it didn't end up taking very long either.
My Fit badge, on the other hand... it is supposed to be an official Honda Japan part, but the red dot is very wishy washy and there are stray paint marks on the silver edge. It looks very dodgy. I am going to have to get another one.
My car is a VTi (blue dot)... I think the red dot looks nicer on a blue car, but the blue dot indicates a 1.5L. What do you guys think - should I go with aesthetics, or stick with the original blue dot?

i stick to blue dot. you can use back the original blue dot. no point buying 1 more badge just for the dot.

Honda got it the wrong way around Unfortunately, I cannot use the blue dot from my original Jazz badge. The Jazz badge is a matte silver, whereas the Fit badge looks chrome, so the dots don't match up I think I need to cut my losses and just buy a new Fit badge... probably with a blue dot this time I guess.

Give it a couple months and you guys can be selling your Jazz emblems on ebay easily.......all the kids in NA will be wanting to get them and taking off their Fit bades...
I've already got mine, so I'm already ahead of the game!! (btw, it has a red dot, is there a blue dot jazz?)
