it's not vivid blue, nick !!! it's quit easy to do that, just take the cover off, use sticker to cover the VTEC, paint and wait about 10mins then paint 2nd time, done !!! it just take me about half hour !!

i also got my cover painted !!!! What colour is it? Looks more metalic and better than vivid blue? Wouldn't want the whole car in that colour but the rocker cover looks so damn good.

Painted my rocker cover on Monday. Bought this anodized blue colour but its come out sort of purple. I'll post a pick later today. The paint is meant to go on bare metal so I suppose the colour is different when put on grey plastic. Shinny finish is nice but not sparkley metallic at all or anthing like the colour I wanted.
Would fine sanding it back help bring up the right colour or maybe polishing or just a case of respray with another colour to try and fix?

Got some grey primer and sprayed that on 1st then resprayed with the other paint. The colour is more blue now but still not metallic. I suppose I can just keep respraying it until I get the colour I want.
