i had obtained my holes by using a drill! lol. here's a pic of it in real life. oh btw, there are 2 things you could do. 1) make that extra light serve as a brake light too 2) just comes on when you switch on your lights

Saw a white Jazz VTi (and bodykit) with that light setup just a moment ago.. looks nice. Certainly better than the blue one done up (has got an Arnette sticker on the bumper.. anyone here?) with the custom round taillights.

Equipment required 2x Honda Socket Cables (2metres per car is more than enough) Tape 2 x 12V 21/5W bulbs For Mode 1 6 Female Pin Lugs 6 Wire Tape Connectors For Mode 2 or Mode 3: 4 Female Pin Lugs 4 Wire Tape Connectors Wire Tap Connector Female Pin lugs Step 1 Open the cover to access the back of the tail lights area. You can actually open this without any tools. But you can use a screwdriver to assist you, but with care so as not to damage the surface. Step 2 The Honda socket should fit in this hole. There are 2 methods to make an opening to fit the Honda Socket in. You can either drill or melt it down by using a soldering iron. It will be ok as long as the size of the opening can hold the socket firmly. Step 3 Cut the cables into a comfortable length for you to work with. The length that I used is approximately 20cm. Strip both ends of the cables. Solder 1 end to the pin lug and leave the other end bare as it is. Tape the end to prevent short circuitry. Prepare 6 pieces for Mode 1 or 4 pieces for Mode 3. Step 4 The purpose of this step is to tap additional wires from the original brake lights to connect to the new Honda Sockets. The Wire Tap Connectors are used in this case. There are 3 wires from the main brake light, namely black, red and white. In order to have Mode 3, you will need wires from black and white. All 3 wires are needed for Mode 1. Remove a small portion of the rubber insulation to expose a small part of the copper conductors using a cutter. Put the exposed copper conductors into the Wire Tap Connector. Put in the bare end of a piece of the cut wires from Step 3 into the Wire Tap Connector as well. Crimp them together as tight as possible using pliers. Step 5 Following the colour arrangement of the existing brake light, connect the pin lugs into the Honda Socket accordingly and tape off the socket as shown. For example, the white wire is from the center pin of the original brake light, therefore connect the additional white wire to the center pin of the new Honda Socket. Great write up.. first mod for sure..
Btw, any tips on taking out the tail light? I'm trying to fit reverse sensors.. the stick on ones u get in HK... want to be able to stick them on and wire them back rather than put them on the bottom of the rear doors.

I'm trying to fit reverse sensors.. the stick on ones u get in HK... want to be able to stick them on and wire them back rather than put them on the bottom of the rear doors. what do you mean? are you referring to the tail light cover? if that's what you are talking about, heard from the guys that you'll need to remove the back bumper in order for you to take out the tail light cover. do you want to mount the reverse sensors to your tail light? you can check out with philip! he's got them mounted on his tail light cover.

Yes.. that's what I mean.. Hmm.. should really start a new thread about this.. but if it's removing the rear bumper.. hmm.. might have to think of another way to get the wire through.

Tofu gor, i had the sensor fitted. it wasn't too difficult.
you'll have to take the rear bumper off. with the cabling, i wire them between the tail light and the bumper, goes upward behind the tail light and thought the gab between the tail light into the interior. i had the control box on the RHS light area as it had more space.
the result is quite good. for mine the tone is noticible.
