Does anyone know what's happening to BP Ultimate for the past few weeks... I've been using the BP Normal Premium 95RON because the Ultimate was unavailable.. Wanted to go back to Ultimate today.. but still unavailable.. WTF.. I ask the guy in the shop and he said apparently BP has problem making them.. and he said it is going to be the same in the next few weeks...

The refinery that supplies western part of AUS has something broken so it takes weeks to fix it.
But the supplies for QLD should be ok as we get ours from a different refinery.
In fact our refinery supplies premium for all the major brands like mobil and caltex however apparently each use a unique fomulation. So quality is the same but the additives aren't.

Do you know whether this is only for BP of other brand of 98RON? I haven't been to other statations so dunno if the 98RON is available.

I think the refinery that broke down is for BP. so other 98 RON should be ok.

What is the main difference between an engine that is designed for 91RON and 95+RON?
Theoretically can there be a way to tune the L15A to use 98RON to take full advantage of the 98RON?
I'm aware that our jazz dont benefit from 98RON for economy and engine performance. However, i'm am putting it in for the sake of keeping a cleaner engine for the long run.
