i just realised recently i'm only getting around 400 km's with full tank of bp ultimate...normal unleaded from shell i get 550+ and the unleaded 95 i get a shocking 300km what do you guys get??? OK. I filled up my last tank with normal Shell unleaded (RON91). Used about half tank...and the fuel consumption is about the same as when I had BP Ultimate (RON98).. I notice some different in power, BP Ultimate give me a little bit more power and smoothness... I might tried a few more tank before jumping into the conclusion as the ECU might take time to adjust. |

Im hybrid the fuel~~ sometime regular, sometimes premium~~ would that confuse the ECU?

If its a mixed tank obviously it won't be the full higher RON (unless the fuels don't mix) but I can feel the difference immediately after running a tank of one and then a tank of another. Doesn't seem to take any time to adjust.

now Im always use premium fuel~~ either Mobil or shell ^^ but my friend recommend to use optimax~~

nick, BP Ultimate you mean? Shell is Optimax..
I would go with BP... personal preference.

Paid 1.30 for BP ultimate 98 today in Sydney after paying 1.45 last week.
I love the way the price just suddenly drops when the oil companies face the very serious threat of another inquiry. There just has to be something suspect going on there.

guys, i used shell optimax last week i filled up and i done 624kms ! damn i was so surprised! thats the best ive done so far! ive got pics of it aswell hehehehe took pics of it to show my friends how fuel efficient our Jazz is and encourage them to get one aswell |

show us the pix, Jay... That's amazing.. 624km for a full tank.. just assuming you've got 2L to go before filling up... 40L for 624km.. which is around 6.4L/100km .. Not bad...  |
