hi guys.... dont know if this is the right place to post this... but i am just wondering wot happens if water and leaves (and i mean heaps of leaves) went in under the bonnet??
i was driving home last night (and last night was pouring) and went over a huge pile of water near my area... and it was so dark that i couldnt see the water until i got there...
wen i got to my garage i smelt something was burning.. so i quickly popped the bonnet and i saw leaves and water were every where in the engine bay as well as the suspension and brakes..
i spent an hour and manage to get most of the leaves and sticks out but there are a lot remaining under the engine where i couldnt reach..
so anyone can tell me where i can get the leaves out of the engine bay? if i take it to a garage or honda dealer, will they do it? or is it ok and leave it as it is???
thanks in advance! and sorry if it takes too long to read...

vividjazz.. funny you said that.. I always wonder if it is okay to pressue host my engine bay.. but scare of water going into the engine, electrics, spark plugs, etc...
Is that okay to pressure hose or what needs to be covered?

i saw my mechanic did it on my crv .. he use the pressured hose (with water) on the engine .. and when done, use different pressured hose (just air) to dry them up .. never had problem so far ..

You put a plastic back secured with rubber band over the alternator and anything else you don't want water on and you focus the water not just spray everywhere. High pressure hoses can be powerful, strip paint. I took the lettering off from around my ignition key on the bike with one once.
