I waited over 3 months for one from him back when I wanted to do mine originally. In the end I just gave up waiting. Thats why I ended up investigating the best way to get one from overseas and started bringing them in myself from Thailand. I looked at getting them from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, the Phillipines, China and Thailand. Thailand was the cheapest, most reliable source. Shipping from Thailand is max. 2-3 weeks.

does the original cd player attach to a bracket? can we use that bracket with the double dins? i bought the double dins but it doesn't come with bracket  |

Sits in the middle of the double DIN opening giving half a DIN above and below. Be OK if they made half DIN blanks. You could fabricate up your own brackets or order the proper Honda ones from overseas. |

Does it means that i can not fit a double din cd player on the original bracket? damn .. do you have recommendation where can i get the bracket from?

If your fitting a double DIN the original brackets will screw into the middle of the sides of it as long as there are holes there on the double DIN unit itself.
The problem with the original brackets is when it comes to fitting a single DIN unit or 2 single DIN units or a single DIN and pocket.
The brackets to take the 2 single DINs are stock parts from any Honda dealer in Thailand as are the facias and pockets. I just jump on the voice over IP dog and bone and say Sa-Wa-Dee Ka.

hey guys.... y dun u guys make a new thread abt the double din? dream still hasnt received his stuff yet and u guys just go on and on and on with the double din.... if u were in dream position, i dun think that u ll feel good man... as if no one cares.... just my opinion

I may have misread the start of the thread, but I got the impression there was going to be a group buy on the double dins, and vivdjazz was organising this. Have I got my wires crossed?
(Just wondering cause i wouldn't mind a double din myself....)
