hey guys
my friend emailed me the following and i am curious if it'll work. ;D ;D
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at your home on your cell phone.
Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button of your key fob (clicker), holding it near the phone on their end. Your car doors will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you.
Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk!).
Editor's Note * It works fine! We tried it out, and it unlocked our car over a cell phone! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
what you guys reckon?

transmitting that signal through a fone?
might work the same way as how our sound waves are transmitted..would be interesting if it works...would be so easy to get into cars..HAHA

i wonder if it'll work the same with the immobilizer chip? Actually, you no need to care about this problem, coz' it suppose the key is locked inside the car! And the immobilizer chip is used to start the engine, is different to the keyless entry system!! If the key is NOT inside the car and Not with u either, even the "mobile phone keyless entry" function work, u can't turn on the engine anyway!
