havnt seen them on the streets, i guess the police are afraid that the rubbish truck will collect them by mistake ..lol hahaha.. good one.. sttich.. which is true anyway... Actually, one more thing.. how come it is illegal to use radar detectors in Vic and other states but not W.A Wierd.... nick.. I am early 30s... hahaha!! |

isn't it illegal if we can't see the camera? Not in Victoria. Btw, has anyone got a GPS unit like a Navman? You can put co-ordinates where fixed speed cameras are and alert you before you reach them. |

I had a O2 Mini before.. and with the software "destinator" loaded and talking to a GPS device via blue tooth, it actually alerted me with the fix camera location by default whenever I approach one at the traffic light... I was like "Cool ~~" ;D

Do you have the co-ordinates by any chance? (as in longitude and latitude).
I'm going to buy myself a Navman iCN520 to get a tax deduction out of it.... not going to make the same mistake twice.

There are hundreds of them... I am pretty sure all that are embedded in the destinator software... I cannot tell you now because I've sold the unit...

I found this on the web and installed it on my Sat Nav unit just then. Has all the speed cameras at least in Sydney that I know. Download it and cut and chop as you wish to fit your Sat Nav unit to bring up alerts... having a look at the Melbourne maps, the whole city is littered with speed cameras!!!!! members.optusnet.com.au/~speed_cameras/speed_cameras.html |
