nick the lifespan of the leds will tell you if its good. the leds that philip was using were expensive too but it blew after like 6 months?? those brandless ones are not that expensive. about half of branded ones.

haha buy Raybrig instead la. I've had raybrig yellows for years and years. I've moved them onto 3 different cars and still running strong. If you can't find any yellow ones, there are always the orange ones used in the blinkers just to be different.

if the watt is too high, its no good for the car in 2 ways: 1. drain too much from the battery. makes the car rpm and voltage unstable. if voltage unstable, it can affect torque and response of the car. 2. the wire may not melt but the socket that sticks directly into the light bulb might melt after some time. i ve experienced this before. cos the bulb is twice as hot as the normal one in order to generate brighter light, it melts the connector socket. the bulb sticks to it. personally i have used many types of aftermarket bulb... the high watt rating makes the car's rpm unstable... phillip doesnt last as long as i expected yet price so expensive... PIAA is good no complain.... this is wat my headlight looks like at nite.... the pivot stabiliser + ground wire contributes to the extra brightness as well.....

Nick, they're talking about headlight bulbs. not led. LED has lower temp than normal bulb.

well... my and some ppl opinions... price for good bulbs and not so good ones not that much difference... no matter wat, issit the same or better for the much higher watt that produces brighter light compared with the same watt yet producing much brighter light??? it doesnt take a genius to figure out doubling the level of watt to produce brighter light, but with the same level of watt and produces brighter light?
