Not Fit/Jazz related... Any Initial D Anime fans here? I am extremely confused... Questions: - 1. How many Stages are there? How many Vol in each stage?
- 2. What are the extra stages?
- 3. Are there any Cantonese dialogue Initial D DVD being published at all?
Any other info would be appreciated.. |

it's been out for years...i think it's up to stage 4??
there's cantonese dubs for them...i watched it once @ a friends house

4 stages all up. Extra stage is just an OVA.
Stage 1 (series)
Stage 2 (series)
Extra stage (OVA)
Stage 3 (movie)
Battle Stage (just shows the cars racing without the plot)
Stage 4 (the one on now)
Stages 1 and 2 car scenes are in CG same with battle stage.
Stage 4 definitely and if I remember correctly, the movie have drawn anime style car scenes. THey are also more technical in that they explain alot more about cars and how this and that works.
There are cantonese dubs for them - just got to look for them.
I have stage 1 in cantonese + eng sub and 1/2 of stage 2 is canto / jap dubbing with english subs.
For the rest, I have them all with japanese dubbing and english subs
FYI, stage 4 has the highest quality of drawings

that certainly clarifies a bit more...
I suppose, to look for the cantonese dub, I have to go to HK to look for them. I have tried a few places such as amazon, yesasia, ebay etc but all japanese dub.
Also, what is OVA and CG? (might sound a bit dumb here)..
My friend lend me one which has got 2 chics on the cover, which one is that?

Our jazz is shown in the series. It was a pink one... don't remember which stage. Probably the 4th. It was just a normal car that drove past in one scene.

i don't know it has Extra stage (OVA) and Battle Stage!
only know Stage 1 - 4, and i know 3 is a movie!
What is the OVA and Battle Stage about??
For the stage 4, the car racing sences are not CG any more, no good~~!

aiya Kelvin, just say soli to ahcash lah~~ orelse U will miss ahcash present~ oiii ahcash~~ your present is cash kah? send it to Brisbane during Xmas oh~~~hehehehe~~ well, Ricky, I saw the pink jazz in one of the stage 4 episode~! now Im watching 15-16 ~ coz I need wait for the english sub DVD~~ ^^
