hey guys thanks for the great comments......in regards to the cold air intake...i am actually trying to get the simota one from jazz pro cos i think it is more directed(ie fits well in the corner) this job was done by an adelaide based exhaust company called exhaust technology. i painted the wheel caps my self....took about 3 hours all together because i had to seal the whole cap with masking tape then using a stanley knife cut out the "h" then spray a couple of coats of red paint. it is not too bad cos since i did it (about 4 months ago i think) it is still in the same condition.
the cold air intake i just "jammed" it onto the existing intake outlet (in the front bumper) then squash it in the wheel arch then it comes into my engine bay. there is nothing really technical...just rip off the bumper (nicely so as not to damage it.....) then fit the hosing and find a way to channel it into the engine bay. hope that helps...and once again thanks!!!guys!! yeah...would like to lower but dont really know what springs to go for.....tossing up between pedders and king springs.....reason for pedders is cos my friend who is a suspension mechanic says that it is just as good as king springs or any other branded one...but still not sure.
