I don't know what the australian wise one will be but this is what i created before. Since the last version was too complex I have simplified it. This is for our little brisbane group

aiks~~.. see this one again~~.. philip.. using Fit might not be a good idea as AUS is using Jazz.. it will conflict for oz ppl.. But.. the URL of this forum is ausfit, not ausJazz! if the Logo is "Jazz" but the URL is "Fit", that is so wired!!

This simplified logo will be easy to make as a sticker. It will look good cos it will be different from other stickers. It has chinese and will stand out more. The barcode thing is just not possible at the size we want it. Maybe if the sticker is bigger - like 40cm width or so.

the logo is good... but hard to represent our Jazz club...~~ Firstly I was never asked to make a logo that represented the whole australian FiT club. This was done purely for the members of Brisbane. Mainly so we can identify each other on the road and are more uniform and grouped together. Logo's look crap if too much promotion is in it. For example all the URLs and full names of the club will just make it look like an advertisement sticker. That is not what I was after.

That's why we have invitation slips like Chris has done ^^
Seriously very few people pay attention to the actual stickers. They glance at it if it looks nice ... other than that asking to extract and absorb information from a sticker on road is a bit too much.

if this is not the factor than I guess your design is the best so far.. ;D ;D... unique and simple.. ^^.. U sure U wanna set the whole color in black?.. what about 2 tone (max) for your logo?.. symbol is black and word is white .. I still prefer the one with barcode.. however, due to the printing factor, it needs to change ..><~~

Generally people try to concentrate on the road when driving. They also have to pay attention to surroundings and surrouding cars and generally people also have passengers so they would be conversing with them as well. As I said, URL int he form of little text will be a futile attempt to try to get drivers to notice. Maybe if your car is parked and people notice it, but that case generally doesn't happen. The jazz isn't exactly a eye-turner like the ferrari for someone to notice to that extent.
The logo will be black / white depending on the type of colour the car is.
You forget that the sticker has to be cut out. Graphics wise, this has to be made in a way which is simple for sticker producer. IF too many colours and shades, it is hard for hte machine to define its edges and cut properly and nicely. THat is why generally most car stickers are quite simple with the exception of a few.
But this is still just a f*ck around cos I only spent 20 minutes on the logo simplifying it from the original. You never know, we might just not use it all together and I will make a completely different logo.

i think in most instance, ppl pick up URL when the car is parked. ppl who are enthuristic about their car will check out others on the road just like we do. an url is surely a good introduction if we're not around our cars.
