Anybody knows why the petrol price is so HIGH?? Just got mine filled up at $1.12 (Unleaded) I think the Ultimate is $1.23 or something (didn't pay attention...) Some of the petrol station on the way already increase the price to $1.23. WTF... Was reading the news paper yesterday and the price of the petrol will remain high throughout the year...  What's going on? |

i know that part of the reason was due to the hurricanes in gulf of mexico that disrupted the oil production which led to shortfall of crude products.
another reason could be due to the death of the king of saudi arabia. but this reason has not been verified.

another reason is the high demand in China which draws the price up.

Aren't we lucky to have a Jazz. My other car is doing nearly double of the Jazz Funny enough, someone was saying in the MX newspaper today that the petrol price wasn't affected in Europe. I remains the same for the past month...  |

another reason could be due to the death of the king of saudi arabia. but this reason has not been verified. one of my friends who works @ the servo told me the same thing. he said the price was meant to drop last tues but then the king died so the price didn't end up dropping and will continue to rise. bloody hell i regret not filling up yesterday when the price was still 113 |

i dun think melbourne will see petrol prices below $1 anymore as well

when i was first here in bne in 2001, the petrol prices was about 0.80 cents the max. but now.....i am really glad that i got a jazz.

i rememebr a few years back whtn the prices first went up to 90cents everyone was complaining and now we're all laughing if the price is @ 110
